We spend the off-season at trainings, conferences, and round-tables with other camp directors from across the country. The photo above is from the American Camp Association’s regional conference, where the four of us went together to sit in on sessions about staff training, youth mental health, risk management, and how to help boys grow.
We came home with notebooks full of things to sharpen and try. Your son’s summer is built on that work.
