WEST END HOUSE CAMP

A Positive Place For Boys Who Love to Play

Choosing a summer camp shouldn’t feel like a leap of faith.
Come feel camp before you decide.

Come say hello

Three ways to feel camp before you decide

No leap of faith required. Come meet the boys — in your neighborhood or right here on Long Pond.

Community event · Free

Natick Get-Together

Sat, May 9 · 10 am–1 pm · J.J. Lane Park, Natick MA

Camp comes to the neighborhood. Lawn games, pizza, ice cream, a video-game truck, and laser tag. Bring friends. Meet West End campers and staff before you ever make the drive to Maine.

On-site visit · Maine

Spring Tours

Sat & Sun, May 30–31 · Long Pond, Parsonsfield ME

Walk the cabins, dip a toe in Long Pond, and talk one-on-one with a director. A gentle way to picture your son’s summer from reveille to night lights.

Full trial day · No cost

Rookie Day

Sat, July 18 · 9 am–4 pm · Long Pond, Parsonsfield ME

Your son is paired with a Big Brother for the Day — an older camper who helps him feel at home from the first handshake. He lives the full day: sports leagues, electives, lunch in the mess hall, waterfront time, and Color-War cheers.

While he’s out there, you tour camp, meet directors, and ask every question you have.

The spirit of the house

Discover the Spirit of the House

Pressure drops. Joy rises.

This is not travel-team grind culture, but the games still matter.

“When you’re one of the boys, you’re always one of the boys.”

Friendly Games

Boys cheer for each other and enjoy the moment. They play because it’s fun.

Healthy Stakes

Competition has spirit without stress. Every effort is celebrated.

Warm Coaching

Counselors model patience, kindness, and steady guidance.

Room to Try

Boys can miss a shot or learn a new skill without fear of judgment.

Growth That Lasts

Confidence grows fast when pressure is low and support is strong.

Every day at camp

Every day you'll see boys...

  • ▶  Starting the day as a team
  • ▶  Laughing through silly games
  • ▶  Celebrating small wins
  • ▶  Trying new skills with easy coaching
  • ▶  Ending the day proud and relaxed

These are the moments boys remember. These are the moments that shape them.

Boys who keep coming back

Most of our boys come back. The counselors who meet them at the bus probably came up here themselves. Some grew up at camp and brought their sons. A few brought their grandsons.
